Montego Bay
Montego Bay is the second largest city in Jamaica,and boasts one of the largest airports in the Caribbean.Sangester Int Airport provides the gateway to most of the island s tourist visitors. In 1494 when Columbus landed there he named the bay Golfo de Buen Tiempo(fair weather gulf).Jamaica was a colony of Spain from 1511 till 1655.When the British drove the spaniards out, the name was changed to Montego Bay. Mobay,as it is frequently shortened by locals,are home to breath taking beaches,reefs and mountain views.Located near Rosehall a world class golf course exists on a old plantation said to be haunted by its owner, a witch.

Founded in1769,Falmouth flourished as a market centre and port for 40 yrs,at a time when Jamaica was a world leader sugar producer.It was named after a town in the United Kingdom. Falmouth was a town,meticulously planned,from wide streets in a regular grid, adequate water supply and public buildings.It even had piped water berore New York City.Instead of a main port for the slave trade,today it has a multi- million dollar cruise ship terminal,bringing thousands of visitors to the island each week.Falmouth attractions include a luminous lagoon,historic architecture and a large duty free shopping zone.




Negril
Located at the north western tip of Jamaica is a vibrant town filled with hotels,resturaunts,bars ,night clubs, scenic mountains and beaches.Negril is a cruiser s paradise,with many calm anchorages,pristine reefs,fair winds.No wonder why Negril is called the king of casual.You have the choice, chill or thrill.
